Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful, Inc. (KGMB) is an award winning, private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. Established in 1983, it has been a member organization of Keep America Beautiful, Inc. since 1985. We are not a public or governmental agency.

KGMB has a strong history of responsiveness, renewal and innovation. KGMB uses a unique combination of community improvement programs like the Great American Cleanup and environmental education programs to accomplish its goals.

Choose to Re-Use Day: Sports Equipment

Choose to Re-Use Days are like a free rummage sale. They are sustainable solutions to exchange serviceable items that you no longer use. Each Choose to Re-Use Day has a focus; this one is on sports equipment. So clean out your garage or basement and bring the sporting items you don't use anymore to the event. Everyone is welcome to come and take an item for free. All left over items will be donated.

Clean Out the Closet Day

This is a chance to get rid of old clothes, belts, purses, sheets, bedspreads, blankets, curtains, drapes, towels, boots, shoes, throw rugs, quilts and sofa covers.  Clothing is sold second hand, recycled into wiping cloths or reprocessed into fibers.

KGMB received a grant from Kohl's Care to purchase 1,300 trees (please click here for a description of the trees offered) to beautify areas where kids and families live and play.  Kohl's employees are volunteering their time to repot and distribute a variety of trees.  The trees would be available for pickup on Saturday, June 13th in Menomonee Falls. If you or your organizaiton would be interested in receiving trees and are able to pick up on the designated day, please complete the Kohl's/KGMB Tree Request Form.
