Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful, Inc. (KGMB) is an award winning, private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. Established in 1983, it has been affiliated with Keep America Beautiful, Inc. since 1985. We are not a public or governmental agency.

KGMB has a strong history of responsiveness, renewal and innovation. KGMB uses a unique combination of community improvement programs like the Great American Cleanup and environmental education programs to accomplish its goals.

Keep It BOO-tiful!

Keep It BOO-tiful Cleanup Event

Keep it BOO-tiful is an annual cleanup and celebration located at area schools and the Lynden Hill Urban TREE House Site.  Area schools or classrooms can register to have their students complete a cleanup and recieve a treat bag.  

To kick off trick-or-treating in the Lynden Hill Neighborhood, a fun event for children is held from 11 - 1.  Children can decorate pumpkins, get their face painted, and play fun outdoor and carnival games.  Over 200 residents joined us for this fun and safe event in 2013.  Event partners include Safe & Sound and the US Forest Service.




Girl Scout Workshop: Brownie: It's Your Planet - Love it!

06:00 PM - 07:30 PM

Join us for this 1.5 hour program for Brownies working towards achieving their It's Your Planet - Wonders of Water badge.  Troops or individual girls may register.  There is a $5 fee per scout and pre-registration is required.  

Join us at our KGMB Education Center to learn about our blue planet!  We will play a game to learn about the water cycle and explore where our water comes from and what happens to it once it goes down the drain.  We will also explore what we can do to reduce how much water we use and take care of our water resources

Cub Scout Workshop: Wolves: Your Living World

Join us for this one hour program for Wolves working towards Your Living World.  Troops or individual boys may register.  There is a $5 fee per scout and pre-registration is required.  

In our Ready, Set, Recycle: Wolves: Your Living World program we will talk about using resources wisely by learning about recycling. We cover requriements b, c, d, and f.  Ask how you can borrow cleanup supplies to meet requirement a.  We look forward to seeing you at our KGMB Education Center.
