Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful, Inc. (KGMB) is an award winning, private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. Established in 1983, it has been a member organization of Keep America Beautiful, Inc. since 1985. We are not a public or governmental agency.

KGMB has a strong history of responsiveness, renewal and innovation. KGMB uses a unique combination of community improvement programs like the Great American Cleanup and environmental education programs to accomplish its goals.

MRF Talk and Tour

Join us to learn about recycling in Southeastern Wisconsin! Recycling is an easy way to have a huge impact on the environment. Here is your chance to see what happens to all of the items you put in the bin! Over the noon hour bring your lunch to eat while we talk about recycling and then take a hard-hat tour of the brand new Materials Recycling Facility.  Participants must be 10 years of age or older.  This program is offered free of charge on the first Tuesday of each month (12-1pm) and the third Thursday of each month (4:30-5:30pm).  Please register here and click on adult classes.

Keep it Boo-tiful

11:00 AM - 01:00 PM

Keep it BOO-tiful is an annual cleanup and celebration located at area schools and the Lynden Hill Urban TREE House Site.

To kick off trick-or-treating in the Lynden Hill Neighborhood, a fun event for children is held Sunday, October 23rd from 11 - 1.  Children can decorate pumpkins, get their face painted, and play fun outdoor and carnival games.  Over 200 residents joined us for this fun and safe event in 2015.  Event partners include Safe & Sound and the US Forest Service.

Halloween Hustle 5K Event

09:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The First Ever Halloween Hustle Milwaukee 5k & Kids Dash will take place on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 9 a.m. This Halloween themed race runs through Veteran's Park in Milwaukee, WI. Immediately following the race, runners and spectators alike are invited to partake in a special after party (Location is TBA).

Volunteer registration is now open for the Halloween Hustle (Sunday, October 30th) and the Santa Hustle (Saturday, December 3rd).  Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful is the 2016 Halloween and Santa Hustle Spotlight Charity! A portion of every registration fee will be donated to KGMB for our help staffing the event.  Come join us for one or both of these fun events!!
