REGISTRATION INFORMATION

  1. Examine Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful Environmental Education Programs in our brochure or on our website http://www.kgmb.org/school_programs.html
  2. Select a program appropriate for the grade level (see Education Matrix)
  3. Click on “Click Here to Register” and complete the online application including your 1st and 2nd choice for a desired date and time of program (please note the specific availability of each program).   Applications must be submitted at least three weeks before desired program date.
  4. You will receive an email confirmation upon KGMB’s receipt of your application.  Programs are available on a first come, first serve basis.  Your 1st choice may not be available; in that event your 2nd choice will be considered.  If a scheduling conflict still exists you will be contacted by KGMB staff to select an alternative date.  
  5. Once a date has been selected, your program will be reserved.  You will be invoiced via email.  Payment is due in full one week prior to the date of the program.
  6. For programs at a School Location, please review Program Guidelines (at School).  For field trips to the KGMB facility please review Field Trip Guidelines.
  7. Contact the Education and Outreach Manager at 414-272-5462 ext. 105 with any further questions or concerns.

 

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made one week prior to scheduled program.  Failure to cancel by the appropriate date will result in a $75.00 fee.  (Please see Waste in Place Program for program specific information).

 

Waste in Place Program

Schools interested in this program will follow the above registration process.  In addition, schools must submit the Memorandum of Understanding by the scheduled date of the program. 

Mini Grants for this program are offered to Milwaukee Public, Private, and Home Schools and are available on a first come first serve basis.   Please note the cancellation information below specific to this program.

 

Cancellations (Waste in Place Program)

Groups must cancel two weeks prior to scheduled program.  Failure to cancel by the appropriate date will result in a $75.00 charge.  This will assure that all schools have fair opportunity to schedule for this program.

 

Transportation

Groups are responsible for their own transportation both to and from our facility.  Please see your school’s administration for bus company contacts.
