Register your group to explore important environmental issues such as composting, sustainability and recycling. Groups of any size are encouraged to sign up.
Programs Available:
- Know What to Throw– A guide to recycling in the City of Milwaukee. Learn how to recycle right and what new items your recyclables become.
- Meet the MRF– Explore the Milwaukee Materials Recovery Facility (MRF). Discover how each machine works to sort and bale your recyclables.
- Basic Backyard Composting– A beginner’s guide to composting. Discover what compost is, how to compost successfully and why it is important.
- Small Space Composting– Find out how to divert organic waste in any sized space. We’ll explore a variety of alternate options to a backyard bin.

Virtual Presentation Registration
Presentations are $50. Neighborhood groups located in the City of Milwaukee with at least 8 participants can qualify for a FREE presentation. Free presentations are sponsored by the City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works.
