Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful hosts several events that contribute to beautification and environmental education.
Great Milwaukee Cleanup – This program runs from March 1 – October 31 each year. Organize your own group and Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful will provide trash bags and loan litter grabbers and other tools for your litter cleanup event. Earth Day Community Litter Cleanup – Celebrate Earth Day by working together to beautify our great city! Individuals, families, businesses, organizations, and groups of all sizes are invited to join us. Milwaukee Irish Fest – Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful has been a part of Greenwish Village, (an environmentally themed children’s area) at Irish Fest for 30 years. Volunteers are assigned a booth/activity to supervise and are then welcome to enjoy Irish Fest with free admission. For more information, Click Here
America Recycles Day – America Recycles Day is the only nationally-recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the United States! Held on and around November 15, America Recycles Day educates and encourages individuals on how to be more mindful of what they consume, where and how to properly recycle, and to pledge to recycle more and recycle right in their everyday lives.
